Space Coast Association of REALTORS® Leadership Academy

Maximize Your Potential with the Space Coast Association of REALTORS® Leadership Academy. The mission of the  Leadership Academy is to identify, educate, inspire and empower a community of leaders who'll become active stewards in the future. Leadership Academy, a rigorous year-long program, is designed to train emerging leaders in how to get involved, make a difference, grow their businesses and expand their leadership skills. 

Throughout the year, students will learn in a classroom as well as through independent study and group sessions. Work includes team-building exercises, goal setting, networking techniques and communication skills.

The academy offers a unique opportunity to see how the Space Coast Association of REALTORS® operates. Many of the principles that guide the volunteer leadership teams also help students run their businesses and make decisions that affect their everyday lives. Graduates will be equipped with the knowledge, skills and confidence to excel as a Real Estate leader.

Our Mission

The Leadership Academy will EMPOWER one another to become stronger and more confident while we MOTIVATE each other to create positive feelings towards others and the community. Through this encouragement, we will INSPIRE enthusiasm, trust, and knowledge in order to plan a VISION for the future with wisdom.

What are the time commitments?

Attend Great American Realtor Days (one overnight stay) in Tallahassee from March 4-6, 2025.

Attend the Space Coast Association of Realtors Installation Gala. Confirmed Date: January 10, 2025

Attend the Florida Realtors Annual Convention in August (one overnight stay) in Orlando: August 25 - 26, 2025

Attend Florida Realtors District 2 Conference

Attend various Association Committee Meetings

Attend the Florida Real Estate Commission (FREC) Hearing

Attend the Board of Directors Meeting

Attend Local Government Official Candidate Screenings at the Association Office

Our Purpose

To foster the interest and knowledge of active REALTORS of the local, state, and national REALTOR organizations to encourage leadership volunteerism in the various boards and committees necessary for the success of our Association.

To help the participants better understand the unique challenges it's members are facing in the current real estate landscape. Leadership Academy is designed to assist REALTORS who want to get involved, make a difference, grow their businesses, and expand their leadership skills. Members will be mentored, inspired, empowered, and motivated to become the successful leaders they know they can be.

How do you Apply?

Opportunities to apply are available in the fall.

You must have at least one year as an active REALTOR and be in good standing with the Space Coast Association of Realtors.

The Process

  • Submit an application with a Broker recommendation.
  • Complete an in-person interview.
  • You must commit to one full year.
